Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how IELTSCore (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the IELTSCore app and related services.

Information we collect

  • Account & sign-in: If you use Google Sign-In, we receive basic profile information (name, email address, and profile picture) via the openid, email, and profile scopes. If you use email verification, we collect the email address you provide to send one-time verification codes.
  • Content you upload: Images of test papers, study collections, reports, and related study materials you choose to store in the app.
  • AI usage metadata: Limited technical metadata about AI feature use (for example, that a recognition request occurred), needed to operate and improve reliability of the service.

How we use information

  • Authenticate you and maintain your account
  • Provide app features (practice materials, collections, reports, AI question recognition)
  • Send transactional emails such as verification codes and service notifications

Service providers (processors)

  • Cloudflare — hosting (Workers), D1 database, R2 storage, and Workers AI for image recognition
  • Resend — transactional email delivery
  • Google — Google Sign-In authentication

Sharing, selling, and advertising

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for advertising. We share data with the processors listed above only as needed to run IELTSCore.

Google user data

Google user data obtained through Google Sign-In is used only for authentication / sign-in. It is not shared with third parties for unrelated purposes and is not used to train AI models.

Retention and deletion

We retain account and content data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing monlorcn@gmail.com. We will delete the requested data within 30 days, unless we must retain limited information for legal or security reasons.

Children

IELTSCore is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encrypted transport (HTTPS) and access controls on our infrastructure providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the effective date. Continued use of IELTSCore after changes means you accept the updated policy.
